Changes to the skills assessment criterion for trade occupation—12 March 2010 

2010年3月12日　有关技工移民职业技术评估要求(TRA)的好消息

 
From 12 March 2010, all applicants applying for either a Skilled—Regional Sponsored (subclass 487) visa, Skilled—Independent (subclass 885) visa or Skilled—Sponsored (subclass 886) visa will be able to use an existing suitable skills assessment to lodge a valid visa application. This will allow applicants nominating a trade occupation for the above visa subclasses to provide a skills assessment predating 1 January 2010 and is in line with the minister’s announcement on 8 February 2010.
 
自2010年3月12日起，所有申请边远地区担保技术移民签证（Skilled—Regional Sponsored 487）、独立技术移民签证（Skilled—Independent 885）或亲属担保技术移民签证（Skilled—Sponsored 886）的申请人，都将能够使用现有的职业技术评估结果（TRA）来提交有效的移民申请。也就是说，以上签证类别的技工移民申请人可以使用2010年1月1日以前通过的职业技术评估结果提出申请，并且没有违背移民局2010年2月8日公布的新政策。
Potential applicants expressed concern with the requirement that they provide a skills assessment
dated on or after 1 January 2010 if nominating a trade occupation as a number already held a suitable skills assessment issued before this date. The change has been introduced to allow applicants who have already obtained a suitable skills assessment to use this at the permanent migration stage.
 
实际上，相当一部分正准备申请技工移民的申请人，都在2010年1月1日前已取得职业技术评估结果（TRA）。他们都担心在新政策的要求下，需重新申请职业技术评估。而3月12日的好消息将允许技工移民的申请使用他们已获得的职业技术评估结果（TRA）来申请永久技术移民（PR）。
